Paula is a DP / director and artist currently based between Los Angeles & Chicago. Her artistic influences come from her Polish-American heritage, her small town suburban childhood, and her academic studies in politics, history, and ethics. She works on varying creative projects, including photography, cinematography, creative direction, graphic design, fine art, and writing.
Paula received her dual Bachelors from the University of Miami in 2024 in Political Science and Motion Picture Production. During her time in school, she worked as the Creative Vice President of Orange Umbrella, the university’s fully student-run communications and visual media consultancy.
As a female cinematographer and artist, Paula provides technical understanding and fresh aesthetic perspective to female-led narratives. She offers an empathetic and nuanced touch to projects and continues to establish herself as a rising multifaceted creative in the film industry and fine art spheres.
Currently, she is curating her photography projects ‘American Girl’ and ‘how it feels to be home’. She also recently wrapped production for two female-led short films, ‘Vixen’ and her own ‘Kodak Moments’, both set to join the festival circuit in 2024.
